Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Rezzy.

1. About Rezzy

Rezzy is a cloud-based appointment scheduling and business management platform operated by Rezzy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", or "our"). Our platform is accessible at rezzy.co.uk and enables service-based businesses to manage appointments, staff, customers, and payments.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rezzy platform, including any associated mobile applications, APIs, and services (collectively, the "Service").

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, in which case "you" refers to that organisation.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service as a Business Owner. Customers booking through a Business Owner's public booking page may be younger, subject to the Business Owner's own terms and the nature of the services offered.

By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you will keep it up to date.

4. Account Registration

To access most features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your password and restrict access to your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Not share your account credentials with any third party

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe to be compromised or used in breach of these Terms.

5. Subscription Plans & Billing

5.1 Plans. Rezzy offers several subscription plans including Free Trial, Basic, Pro, and Enterprise. Features available to you depend on the plan selected. Details of current plans are available at rezzy.co.uk/pricing.

5.2 Free Trial. New accounts may be eligible for a free trial period. At the end of the trial, your account will be paused unless you select a paid plan. We are not obligated to extend trial periods.

5.3 Billing. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance in British Pounds (GBP). All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT will be added at the applicable UK rate.

5.4 Payment. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. By providing payment details, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees. You confirm the payment method belongs to you or that you have authorisation to use it.

5.5 Auto-renewal. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time via your billing dashboard.

5.6 Refunds. We operate a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time paid subscribers. After this period, fees are non-refundable except where required by law, including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. Monthly subscriptions cancelled mid-cycle are not pro-rated.

5.7 Price changes. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable UK, EU, or international law or regulation
  • Send unsolicited communications (spam) or engage in phishing
  • Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without written permission
  • Use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service
  • Process payment card data in a non-PCI-compliant manner

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice if we reasonably believe you have breached this section.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our IP. All content, software, trademarks, logos, and materials on the Rezzy platform are owned by or licensed to Rezzy Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7.2 Your Content. You retain ownership of all data, content, and information you upload to the platform ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, and process it solely to provide the Service.

7.3 Feedback. If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

8.1 Data Processing. As a Business Owner, you act as a Data Controller for your customers' personal data. Rezzy acts as a Data Processor on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to collect and process your customers' data.

8.2 Data Processing Agreement. By accepting these Terms, you enter into our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which forms part of these Terms and governs how we process personal data on your behalf.

9. Business Owner Obligations

As a Business Owner, you agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws, including consumer protection, data protection, and employment law
  • Maintain your own privacy policy and terms for your customers
  • Accurately represent your services, pricing, and availability on the platform
  • Honour confirmed bookings or provide reasonable notice and remedies when cancellations are necessary
  • Not use the platform to facilitate any illegal activity
  • Ensure staff members using the platform are authorised to do so
  • Keep your account and billing information up to date

10. Customer Bookings

Rezzy facilitates bookings between customers and businesses. We are not a party to the service agreement between a business and its customers. Disputes regarding the quality, delivery, or cancellation of services should be resolved directly between the customer and the business.

Customers booking through the platform agree to the booking and cancellation policies set by the individual business. Rezzy is not responsible for any losses arising from a business's failure to deliver services.

11. Payments & Refunds

Where payment processing is enabled for a business's booking page, payments are processed by Stripe. Rezzy does not store payment card details. Refund policies for customer appointments are set by the individual business. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

11.1 Online payments are optional. Business Owners may choose whether to offer online card payments, bank transfer, pay at appointment, or a combination of these options. If a Business Owner does not connect Stripe or disables online payments, customers may still be able to book using the other payment options enabled by that business.

11.2 Stripe Connect. To receive online customer payments through Rezzy, a Business Owner must connect their own Stripe account. Stripe may require identity, business, bank account, and compliance information before enabling payments or payouts. The Business Owner is responsible for keeping their Stripe account in good standing.

11.3 Fees and charges. Online payments may be subject to a Rezzy platform fee and Stripe processing fees. Rezzy platform fees are shown in the business payment settings before connecting Stripe. Stripe fees vary by card type, country, currency conversion, disputes, refunds, and Stripe's own pricing. Stripe's current UK pricing is available at stripe.com/gb/pricing.

11.4 Disconnecting Stripe. Business Owners may disconnect Stripe from their Rezzy payment settings. Disconnecting Stripe disables future online payments for that business but does not delete historic payment, booking, receipt, tax, accounting, dispute, or audit records that we are required or permitted to retain.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rezzy Ltd shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss
  • Loss of revenue, profits, business, or goodwill
  • Loss or corruption of data
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • Actions or omissions of third-party service providers (including Stripe, Twilio, or Google)

12.3 Our total aggregate liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to us in that period or (b) £100.

12.4 The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rezzy Ltd and its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your use of the Service in breach of these Terms
  • Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights
  • Any dispute between you and your customers
  • Content you upload or transmit through the Service

14. Termination

14.1 By you. You may cancel your account at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

14.2 By us. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if we are required to do so by law.

14.3 Effect of termination. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will retain your data for up to 30 days following termination, after which it will be deleted. You may export your data during the active period of your account.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice in the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not accept the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your account.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

For unresolved disputes, you may also use the Online Dispute Resolution platform provided by the European Commission at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
